About us

Having formed a special bond with animals at a young age Donna-Marisa Lewis decided admittedly late in life that she wanted to donate her life to the welfare of the two breeds of animals she felt most connected to, Dogs and horses.

Each year hundreds of thousands of animals are unnecessarily abandoned, re-homed or put to sleep due to undressed behavioural problems. It is not possible to save them all but with some simple training techniques and basic understanding we can all put a stop to this practice.

Donna will cover the following issues:

Dog:

There is scientific evidence to show that some behavioural problems are to attributed to certain breeds.

Other behavioural problems include excessive barking, chewing, digging, tail chasing, chasing joggers and cyclists, animal and other dog chasing, separation anxiety. Jumping up, aggression and biting.

Horses:

Horses may have problems from time to time. These could be problems such as handling issues such as being lead or trailer loading; problems being ridden such as napping, bucking and rearing or other issues such as weaving, head-shaking and separation anxiety.
Donna will help you understand your horse’s behaviour and will work with you to create a safe, effective programme for both you and your horse’s individual circumstances.

All aspects of your horse’s management, environment and training will be taken into consideration.

As a result you will benefit from a better understanding of your horse’s behaviour, increasing your confidence with riding, handling and training.
